How would you describe your style? Minimalist chic

Do you remember the first thing you made? The first thing I made was a green velour fedora at home using a roasting pan with water to create steam and my oven to dry the hat.

Before I started making I… I was a social worker, working with Seniors.

If I weren’t a maker I’d be... Getting paid to travel the world.

What would be on your maker’s soundtrack? I’m coming out by Diana Ross, Champion by Kanye West, Anything from Snoh Aalegra, Luther Vandross, Mary J Blige, Khalid, Sade, Anita Baker and Lauryn Hill

If you could learn a new skill what would it be? I would learn to speak French and Italian.

What’s your favorite movie? Something’s Gotta Give and One Night With the King

What is your perfect day? A perfect day is when I clear my to do list!

Last book you read? When the enemy strikes by Charles Stanley

What would your last meal be? Chips, spicy guacamole and gooey chocolate chip cookies.

Favorite scent? Lavender & Eucalyptus…it relaxes me!

Favorite Flower or Tree? Ranunculus

Favorite artist? Currently - Snoh Aalegra

What do you see outside your bedroom window? Trees, trees and more trees…oh and squirrels jumping from branch to branch.

What do you hear right now? My boys arguing over food, LOL.

What was the last gift you gave someone? I made a custom hat for a friend’s birthday with her initials embroidered inside.

If money was not a factor how would you live your life? Globetrotter

Favorite holiday? Christmas when all the family gets together.

What is your most treasured possession? My grandmother's chair… It's an arm chair with a Tapestry needlepoint back and a blue velvet seat…its gorgeous!

What is your favorite family tradition? Picking coordinating PJs for our Christmas photo.
